Deborah Turner

I was born on August 12, 1957 in Martinsville, VA and lived in Patrick and Henry Counties. I make my home in Bassett, VA. No kind of music moves me like traditional, country, and bluegrass. Allison Krauss and Rhonda Vincent are among my favorites. I play electric bass in the family band. I also sing vocals and harmonies. Mom, Dad, two sisters, and a brother make up this group of whom I love very much because of a unique bond we share. I am blessed to be able to record "Family Circle", a project of which I am proud of. I trust whoever listens will be blessed by the words of the heart. It is my desire to always be a witness for God and a blessing to people everywhere. To God be the Glory! Love in Christ.

I have been singing as far back as I can remember. I sang on the radio at age 5 and continue to sing in church today. I began playing the piano at age 9 and by age 11 was providing the piano music for the church choir. I continue to be very active in the music department at my local church, Day Star Ministries Church of God of Prophecy. I have also taught piano lessons and have sung in several weddings. It is my desire as you listen to the lyrics of our songs that you will be blessed and encouraged in your walk with our Lord and if you have not accepted the Lord, Jesus Christ as your personal Savior you will come to know him today.

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
-- John 3:16.

I was born on April 3, 1961 in Martinsville, VA and now live in Roanoke, VA. I started singing at an early age of 7. Singing the tenor with my mom and dad. Even as a child I started my mornings listening to gospel music. I am thankful for my parents who taught me about Jesus. We always went to church every Sunday. My mom taught me the chords on the piano when I was a child. Playing the piano is a great joy. I have been active in the music department in different churches over the years. I give God all the praise for his many blessings. I hope when you listen to this CD you will feel the presence of the Lord. My favorite song on this recording is "Mercy Walked In". I am so thankful for his mercy and love.

"The Lord is my Strength and my Song and is become my Salvation."
--Psalms 118:14
